Kimono Quilt: Block One

I've found my free time again. To ease myself back into sewing I've started a new, relatively simple, paper pieced wall hanging. I do intend to finish my Mini Wedding Ring, perhaps working on these two projects simultaneously. I've had the fabric for this project laying about for some time, what took so long in getting started was finding the perfect border fabric and printing out the paper to piece it on. Yesterday I finished my first block, a fresh purple kimono that reminds me of spring. This will probably be one of the lighter blocks. Enjoy.
